HDMI audio doesn't activate sporadically

I'm on Mojave latest update. Using a 4k tv as monitor and about 40% of the time when I have to reboot the system comes up normally but the tv is not an audio option. A reboot always fixes it. Any idea what might be going on there?

Getting the same on my Hackintosh.

Sometimes, the system loads with this:

When this is the case, I don't have audio coming from my HDMI. Sometimes, I have to do multiple reboots to get it working to this:

i7-7700k / GA-H270n-wifi
