HDMI and 3,5 Jack sound?

Hey guys,

I've sound working on my PC, but I still have a little problem:
Right now, I'm using a HMDI monitor which also has a 3,5 jack sound plug.
What I want is that i can get sound through the speakers in the monitor,
while my monitor is connected to my GPU with HDMI.

Anyone got any ideas and tips on this?

yeah I know, but with DVI, it goes wrong:
very strange dots and stipes from different colours are all over the screen...

If you want to use HDMI input on your monitor, it automatically expect the sound through the HDMI port.
To do this you have to solved the graphics card connected to the motherboard with the audio output (cable with a small connector for audio, which comes bundled with the graphics card).
