I have a Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 (Rev. 2.0) with an i3-4370 and 8GB (2x4) Crucial DDR3-1600 (CT2KIT25664BA160B) RAM plus an OCZ Vertex 3 240GB SSD. Using the 10-10 clover guide.

Everything seems fine, I am even able to wake from dead sleep (computer turns off), and audio still works without issue using the audio_cloverALC-100.command.

But everytime I boot (about 15 seconds to desktop) I get the apple logo with progress bar, and it has this multi-logo of the apple across the screen. I think I'm using the config.plist from the guide as I had to copy it from the USB to the SSD or it would KP on boot.

Maybe a config issue? I know the config.plist looks like it has a ton of weird settings that normally won't be in there. But this time I KP and needed to use the one from the USB installer for it to work. I'm on the wrong computer ATM, soI'll edit this and post it from the right machine.

It seems to have cleared up the multi-logo display, but it now goes black for a couple seconds and comes back to the progress then goes to desktop quickly.

The patch is suppose to do this I guess. so it seems to be functioning fine now.

Thanks

Going to a black screen and back to a quick progress bar right before the login or desktop screen is the same functionality I have with my GTX 970.

Does this work for Chimera too? Have the same issue. Thanks!

Follow the link. There are different steps for non Clover users.
