I've got a Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6850,
the install was easy, I take it out and installed Mountain Lion with the internal graphics of my processor. After the installation I put the HD 6850 back in!

Well between 1. and 2. there is something. You need to to remove the Ati 6000 kext and use GraphicsEnabler=No during the installation process of Mountain Lion, Later you just put the kext back and everything works fine. On Lion it works out of the box. There is already a thread about that problem

It sounds complicated but its just a matter of seconds, but you need to do it (at least me)

EDIT: Oh you already have ML installed. I should read before write

Yes, the easy way is to install ML first, then the card.
