Hi,

I have a budget Mac.

GA-Z270-HD3, I5-7500 (HD630). Running 10.13.2. Monitor (Samsung S27E330). Sound (AppleALC), also installed CloverHDMI Audio. Everything working well.

I was so impressed with the setup, that I bought a second display (Asus VZ249). Trying to get dual screen to work with the setup. MB has 1 HDMI (Port 0x5) and 1 DVI (Port 0x6). Monitors only have HDMI so using DVI to HDMI cable.

Followed the guide for HD530.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-workaround-using-intel-hd530-with-dual-monitors.214125/
Skipped step 1 as I read on another message it was relevant for HD 530.
Step 2 was not required since I applied HDMI Audio.
Tested with and without step 3.
Updated connector edits to change output to HDMI.

Here is the behavior.
1. Both monitors boot up fine individually.
2. Hotplugging HDMI when booted with DVI, has no issues.
3. Hotplugging DVI when booted with HDMI, created a Kernel Panic. System reboots.
4. Keeping both cables connected, screens go black.
5. Applying AGDPfix, has no display on DVI. But boots with both cables connected.

The question I have is if hot plugging is my only option? Is the AGDPFix really required for my version of SMBIOS?
Is there a way to disable one of the ports until boot completes?

I have tried to power individual monitors, but behavior same as #4 above.

I have attached IOReg output, SSDT patches, Boot Log.

Thanks for any input.

And others who have helped me to get this machine built!
