Having Yosemite trouble.

I have the Yosemite and have loaded it on to usb UniBeast, so I try to put it on GA-Z68X-UD3P, i5 2500k, Nvidia 640gt, and 16gb mem. I type -v so I can see where I'm up to, and every time it stops after a minute, saying Waiting for root device, can anyone know what could be wrong, cheers.

I had this problem for a while; try sticking the USB installer in a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0.
