For some reason now I have to interrupt Clover's auto-boot, hit space and select 'Boot with selected options' or system will always boot in VESA mode. I'm not changing any options or boot flags, it should in theory be exactly the same as letting the auto boot continue. Clover's res is also stuck in limp mode regardless off resolution settings. The Apple logo stays lo-res until just before log in when it changes to full res (presumably when nVidia web drivers kick in)

What's up with this?

.. or another way of asking this question would be:

What could possibly be different between letting clover boot itself, and interrupting clover and booting without changing anything?

Have you tried installing again after boot. I’ve had clover work fine until it got corrupted and reinstalled and it worked normally again.
