you know whats funny?? i grew several gray hairs and not able to get audio on to my monitor via hdmi until i followed this member instruction (skip clean install), there was no HDAEnbler1(2).kext to delete, there was only HDAEnbler.kext that i left alone.

i have a GA-Z87N-WIFI btw

1. Fresh Install
2. Multibeast (got the .mb file from here: CustoMac Mini 2013: GA-H87N-WIFI - Core i3-4340 - Intel HD 4600) -> Restart
3. Removed S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext
4. Didn’t worry about injection because I don’t have a gfx card
5. Applied kext patches per notes 1 & 2
6. Restart
7. Downloaded audio_ssdt-hdmi-ami_hd5k-amd-nvidia-1_v2.zip and unzipped
8. Renamed SSDT-1.aml to SSDT.aml
9. Installed to Extra/
10. Enabled SSDT by adding code to Extra/org.chameleon.boot.plist
11. Rebuilt kernel cache via DPCIManager
12. Restarted once again

GOT IT WORKING!!!!!!!

azul-a: hdmi/dvi on Ports 0x6 and 0x7
azul-c: hdmi/dvi on Ports 0x5 and 0x6

hey toleda, just wanted to say thanks for your assistance and pointing me in the right direction. I followed the steps to find out my framebuffer port-numbers and found out they are ports 0x5 & 0x6. So I made a lucky guess when I chose the script the first time and was good to go. Glad to have at least confirmed the ports even tho I dont even use those HDMI's. I instead use the HDMI from my discrete GPU which works out of the box. But your guide was solid to get it working for me regardless so I can help others with similar setups as well... thx bro!

1. Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H / F3 [05-16-2013] / Intel Core i3-4330 / OS X 10.9.2
2-5. Can't retrieve easily at the moment (kernel panic at boot)

Firstly, thank you for posting this guide. This is exactly what I've done:

1. Fresh install of OS X 10.9.2
2. Installed MultiBeast and used this mb file and rebooted.
3. Installed Chimera and rebooted.
3. Removed HDAEnabler1.kext (there was no 2)
4. Applied 10.9 kexts: 8 series/AppleHDA.kext and 8 series/AppleIntelFramebufferAzul.kext and rebooted.
5. Launched MaciASL and did:

a. MaciASL/Patch/8series-Clean Compile
b. MaciASL/Apply/Close/Compile
c. Patch/Desktop-add_dsdt/PCIO/P0P2
d. MaciASL/Patch/Desktop-HD5K/AMD/Nvidia-A1
e. MaciASL/Apply/Close/Compile/Save

6. Renamed to dsdt.aml put into /Extra/
7. Rebuilt kernel cache
8. Rebooted and get kernel panic at grey boot screen shown below

Any ideas on what I'm doing is correct for my motherboard? I've no dedicated GPUs.

EDIT: I have it working now. Rebuilt, and used ssdt instead and it works. Thank you!!

AppleHDAController binary needs 2 patches.
For Terminal patch, see Post #1/Notes/1. 8 series/AppleHDA.kext/2. Download
For Clover patch, see audio_CloverHDMI/config-hdmi_hd4600-92.plist.zip/Download (View Raw)

many many thx for this.
It works now.
I try many dsdt patches but none worked becouse it wass applehda problem...
Can u say why this binary patch its not included in multibeast already?
Thx again!
U can ignore same question on IM forum.

The patch is included in all MultiBeast 6 versions.
To see the problem, IOJones/HDAU@3/AppleHDAController@3/IOHDACodecDevice@3,0/empty, no codec.

I read your whole instruction and see that problem but didnt know why i have this..
i only installed applehda using latest multibeast.
All its good and working after patching it for Device_ID: 8086 0c0c.
Soo i mean why multibeast version its not already patched for Device_ID: 8086 0c0c?
