Hi Toleda,

I have to say thank you !
This was not obvious. I've been reading and reading again your tutorials for a week now.
It was very dark at the beginning as it was the first time I used OSX.
But everything turned clear tonight and I managed to do it.

So thank you again for your great job

Guillaume

Hi Again Toledo sorry to be a pain
Having finally worked out Remove S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext

and after crashing my system and having to re install mavericks TWICE now, I think I maybe on the right track?
I have been using MACIASL to patch my DSDT as instructed however I when I perform the second step of making sure I compile my DSDT before "HDMI audio editing dsdt"

I have been getting an error in my DSDT?
"10055 6126 syntax Error, unexpected PARSEOP_ARGO "
the other times I have done this the same error but in a different line positions like 9952 or some thing? When I delete this "argo" I then get 8 other errors ? please see screen shots from attachment View attachment Archive.zip

Try:
MaciASL/Patch/8Series-Clean Compile
MaciASL/Patch/Apply
MaciASL/Close
MaciASL/Compile

Hi Mate
thanks for your reply,
Just tried your suggestion, the clean DSDT compiled with no errors and 1 warning (happy days)
I applied the patch (Nvidia A1)/close/compile
it gave me a few warnings but no errors this time, so then save to desktop/ applied .aml extension and place into extras,
rebuilt the kernel with DCPImanager
then rebooted,
however after reboot I got this screen (pls see attachment) (sad days)

I attempted to reboot with boot flags -v -x PCIRootUID=1 DSDT=0, but no luck

tried to reinstall MavOSX again, but since then I have had not been able to reinstall Mavericks? for some reason it is loading all the way to the end and coming up with installation failed message screen???
Not sure whats doing there as nothing has been changed since the reboot :(
will keep trying

Something bad happened, no idea what caused it. This was s good time to have a backup. Clean install may be the only solution.

after several attempts
Was finally able to reload the Mavericks again
for some reason the disk utility was not allowing me to partition the disk
ended up resetting the bios,
back to where I started, trying to work out how to enable the HDMI audio
I have read the read me which came with the latest multibeast 3.0.1
it states-
Known Issues:
- When using the UserDSDT Quick Start option, you cannot use /Extra/DSDT.aml on the destination volume as the DSDT file. If you do MultiBeast will fail to build correctly. This will be fixed in a future release.

I am wondering if this is where I am going wrong?? am I not meant to place the DSDT.aml in the extra folder?
what do you think?

The latest MultiBeast is 6.1
Attach the dsdt you are trying to install in Extra.
