Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10.0

Remind us again of your specs? motherboard? CPU? GPU?

Sure no problem,..... I need to put that in my sig:

Core i7 5820K
Asus X99-A (UEFI/BIOS version 1004)
Crucial 4GB DDR4 DIMM (single stick)
Intel 330 240GB SSD
HD 6870

@octavean

...I deleted both of them and repaired permissions afterwords...

greetings

janzwo

Thanks,....

Cheers.

Edit:

It looks like deleting those IOBluetooth kext files and repairing permissions did the trick for the last leg. No more safe mode. It booted fine with just "-v -f"

Thats the major hurdle right there.

I guess everything else is relatively minor like sound and iMessage,.....

I might go USB for audio assuming USB is working OK.

Thanks BoomR and Janzwo. Also thanks to everyone here fighting the good fight, sharing information and making it all happen. I'll see if I can help others too and pay it forward,.... ;)

Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10.0

Having read through all 400+ posts I'm still stuck on [ PCI configuration begin ] :banghead:

Here are my specs:

- Intel Core i7-5960X 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor
- Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card

I've patched the kernel using the two different ways (one with two commands, the other with one). I've tried practically every boot flag I can find, still no luck. (including nv_disable=1, GraphicsEnabler=No, cpus=1 to name a few) I've tried changing the number of cores (15 for me) in the VoodooTSC info.plist file. I'm absolutely stuck. Here's a picture of what I'm getting:

Any help would be extremely appreciated as this is my first hackintosh.

Are you trying to get into the UniBeast installer to install OS X Yosemite or have you already installed Yosemite,....?

I'm guessing that was a typo but its not GraphicsEnabler=1 its either GraphicsEnabler=Yes or No.

ok you need help, so..

all you have to do is to copy some modifed kexts from Stinga11 in S/L/E
is uniquely for 5960x otherwise: Still PCI CONFIGURATION BEGIN.
i will send you the link by PM where you can dwld this kexts.
A donation to Stinga11 will be nice. i can send you his contact.
Be carefull you have to wait a little bit after having read Pci confg... maybe 30s.

Haswell-E + X99 Motherboard Temporary Guide - OS X 10.10.0

Hi Santimbaud,

I have the same problem with 5960X could you please send me the link to download the right patches?

I have the same motherboard, and 16G of RAM

Could you also post the steps you have done to make your hackintosh work?

Thanks a lot in advance...
