Well, so much for chipset support at this event. Guess we're waiting until WWDC.

I share your triple-brick-wall headache. I feel that I am just one step from getting my beast to be the hackintosh I need...
Also do you think that Apple is being passive-aggressive auto-correcting 'hackintosh' to 'mackintosh'? I mean that's not even how you spell macintosh!
Thanks for this post. I followed all the appropriate steps and I'm able to turn volume up on my keyboard as well as down, and it seems like it's working, however I have no actual audio. I have an X99 E-WS. Any suggestions?x99 audio - testers needed

Problem Reporting, Post #1, No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA

Hi Toleda
"..."
Thanks a lot.
An IOReg with Voodoo installed is useless to solve an AppleHDA problem.I had to use the voodooHDA.kext to get the audio to work (it's quite terrible).
See Problem Reporting, Post #1, No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA. Post to same thread as the guide.I have no actual audio.
Same as guide:Try using the "old fashioned" HDAEnabler.kext instead of the HDAEnabler.dylib.
