still stuck.

Double check your npci=0x2000 and vt-d off then.
I got stuck at first, and solved by these two options.

Gigabyte X99-UD4
Nvidia 750 TI

Got to installation screen:

1. Updated BIOS
2. Recommended BIOS Settings
3. Created boot stick
4. Copied the kext as recommended USB
5. Ran in the following *fixed* commands in terminal

sudo perl -pi -e 's|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3C|\x74\x11\x83\xF8\x3F|g' /Volumes/USB/System/Library/Kernels/kernel
sudo perl -pi -e 's|\xEB\x0A\x83\xF8\x3A|\xEB\x0A\x83\xF8\x3F|g' /Volumes/USB/System/Library/Kernels/kernel

6. Booted with the following flags (have to use nv_disable for 750ti as it is maxwell architecture until I get drivers)

npci=0x2000 cpus=1 nv_disable=1 -f -v
