Has anyone tried a Xeon ThinkServer?

I'm looking for a bare bones machine to do renderings with. All I need is processor power and minimal graphics. I already have drives and an old Radeon 2600 XT which will suit fine.

I am looking at this at NewEgg:

Spec wise, it appears to fit the bill. I can preload 10.11.5 on a drive easily enough. Has anyone tried anything like this?

I use a TS140 ThinkServer and it is my favourite Hackintosh.
Very quiet, easy to install OS X and it runs Windows really well too.

I have never tried it on a TD230 though.
