Has anyone succesfully installed Mavericks on Z68X-UD5-B3?

I've been going round in circles all weekend trying to get it to work! Got Mavericks installed, but not able to boot.

Has anyone managed it with this motherboard? Is it ever going to work?

Annoyingly it doesn't seem possible to roll back to 10.8 - I've tried reinstalling ML but it refuses saying a newer operating system is installed already...

yes, works fine! with F10 Bios und DSDT.
(like 10.7 and 10.8).

Update from 10.8.5 with UniBeast 3.0.
But also works (for test) on a clean SSD new Installation.

I'm on F6 bios not F10 wander if that could be part of the problem?

I don´t know. OSX is running since F7 Bios. I never used an older one

I'm up and running on Mavericks now - but still no audio - how did you get your audio working? Have tried Mavericks Multibeast, ML Multibeast and Voodoo 2.8.2 - but no luck with any so far..

I am upgraded to Maverick the day it was released. Everything works, even native sleep/wake works for the first time ever. Make sure to get rid of darkwake and other junk from boot.plist - many settings are not needed anymore or depreciated.

Anyway this is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist:

Use MacPro 3.1 SMBios profile. Make sure you have correct SSDT.aml as well.

For Audio use MB6->Drivers> Audio>Realtek ALCxxx>With DSDT>ALC889.

As you were messing around with this earlier, make sure you delete any kext you played with to get sound working, before trying what should be used correctly.
