My system Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 UEFI Geforce GT 640 Samsung 850 SSD 250 GB 16 gig memory

I have a Sierra install 10.12.6 with latest updates running perfectly. tTo test I cloned to a seagate HD and then followed the install instructions. I needed to change sys def to iMac 13,2 from 12,1 in order for it not to panic. Upgrade succeeded with only needing to add audio back in. Knowing that that drive worked I cloned a Samsung 850 SSD, as I wanted afps, with the working Sierra install as I had done on the HD. Ran the install directly only to have the drive not show in clover. I was able to see it and finish the install using unibeast but the no acceleration or ability to change resolution on graphic card. Not detected as GT 640 but as generic. Also can't identify monitor. Will not boot on its own. Only with unibeast. I could clone the HD with the working install but its HFS+ and I would like it to be afps. Confused as the HD went flawlessly and functions perfectly. anyone have any ideas?
