After being told off on the sticky (sorry), I feel this is probably the right place to post?

I seem to only be able to boot when using an external graphics card or on safe mode.

I've tried a variety of ways to try and enable HD4000 graphics on my 3570k but on verbose it hangs on:

X86PlatformShim::start -failed to register for CPU plimit notification

Can someone give me a simple guide to get my graphics working- I've tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, some HD4000 enabler kexts and tried to make sense of the sticky but to no avail..

Motherboard: MSI Z77a-G43
Processor: 3570K

I did do the things in that build but because I tried installing a lot of other kexts etc, maybe things are conflicting?

If I do a fresh install, and follow that build exactly, maybe it will work?

I would start with a fresh install and just a DSDT FREE from MultiBeast. It should boot just like that. After that install LAN and then sound.

OK, so I finally managed to get round to reinstalling- HD4000 now works fine

Only problem is, I can't seem to get the computer to go to sleep..

I've tried changing the smbios to mac mini 6.2, but that doesn't really help.
