My rig works fine when using iBoot but when I boot ith Chameleon it hangs at the Apple logo.
My rig is as follows
x58a-ud3r
6gb 1600mhz ram
ati5770

So I booted in verbose mode and here is what I get.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Holy Cores, batman!

Last I checked, an i7 950 is 4 cores/8 threads and your screenshot shows 16 total threads. Makes me think some CPU aliases may still be in the ACPI tables.

Can you compare the verbose output of iBoot with this one? Does the iBoot boot also show 16 threads?

If I had to guess, I'd say that iBoot is giving you some features that are missing with your traditional boot. That may be kexts, a generic DSDT, smbios/Boot.plist options. I'm not familiar enough with iBoot to tell you for sure, but at least comparing the two verbose boots up to this point can help.

Someone more knowledgeable about iBoot ought to chime in, but I'd hasard some advice to copy the /Extra files from iBoot to your main system and see what happens. Make a backup of yours first, however:

Code:
cp -r /Extra ~/Desktop/Extra-Backup
