Hi guys!
I'm very excited to be part of this forum.
I'm not really new in the hackintosh world as I previous (few years ago) tried to build an hackintosh. At this time, it was Snow Leopard and I think it was much more complicated than today!
I'm posting today because I'd like to build an hackintosh based on this components (I didn't buy any of them for now):
So here is my main interrogation:
Cheers,
Manu

I'm not really new in the hackintosh world as I previous (few years ago) tried to build an hackintosh. At this time, it was Snow Leopard and I think it was much more complicated than today!
I'm posting today because I'd like to build an hackintosh based on this components (I didn't buy any of them for now):
- Motherboard: Z490 (not exactly sure which one, maybe the Gigabyte Z490 Vision D because of the 2 thunderbold ports, but it's very expensive...)
- CPU: i9 (probably the 10850k or 10900k, is the performance difference worth it regarding the price gap?)
- RAM: 16 or 32 GB, not sure yet, maybe Crucial Ballistix
- GPU: RX 6800 XT, when I'll be able to catch one
So here is my main interrogation:
- Can I start to build and use my hackintosh with no GPU and only use the graphical chipset on the CPU (assuming I'll use it for simple tasks which didn't require extensive GPU usage)?
- Will I be able to plug my 4K monitor?
- When I'll get the RX 6800 XT, will I be able to plug it on my existing hackintosh without having to do a fresh install?
Cheers,
Manu
