Hey there
i wish u a good new year.

i have the same problem with Mavericks 10.9.0

i am completly feared.
Do i have 2 update 2 yosemite or can i update to 9.5?

I have the 970 stucking in apple bootscreen.
With disable Graphics i can boot in the system.

Aren´t there any drivers for 9.0?

i have so much apps running on 9.0 with dualboot W7
i´m really shaking

Greets :)

oh :(

Then i have a lot of work 2 do :(

Im running Logic and several bought! plugins.

One Question?
Will i get big trouble updating 2 Yosemite?
Can i update via software update in OSX or do i have to make a stick again?

Thanks for your feedback :)

Its always best practice to back up your working system before updating. Important if you plan on an upgrade from Mavericks to Yosemite is to follow the steps in this thread Guide: Update OS X Mavericks to OS X Yosemite Using UniBeast ...
Yes you will need to create UniBeast with Mac OS X Yosemite from the App Store.

Swatch, with the 970...follow these steps from Forum user "Flo655":

Clean install of Yosemite with Clover, without the video card.
Add nv_disable=1 in boot args
Connect the card
Reboot
Install the latest NVIDIA Web Drivers
Remove nv_disable=1, add nvda_drv=1
Reboot, but don't connect your screen to the video card yet.
Go into the bios and disable IGFX, select PCIe 1st slot as the first selection. This will enable the bios to be displayed on your main screen connected to the video card. Now you can connect your screen to the video card.
Boot into OSX, this will now be even faster than before

Drivers can be found here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/80070/en-us

Works well on 10.10.1

ok
thank u very much :)

Then i need some holiday and much coffee :headbang:

i will report, when it worked, or when i have destroyed everything :D

i have the system on a second hdd. so i can try it out
