Hello, today Im using the Asus V Rampage Extreme with an i7-5820K CPU, but cant get it totally perfect/stable so I was thinking about buying a new motherboard with new ram and cpu for a hackintosh build, and the I was wondering if the Gigabyte GA-Z170-Gaming K3, with socket S-1151 would work fine, I saw that not exactly thios mobo was included in the buyers guide here on tonymacx86 but will still the ga-z170 gaming k3 just work fine like the others gigabyte card in the guide, because my plan is to use mac os as main OS on this machine with a gtx 1070 founders edition. and dual boot windows 10 if im going to do some gaming and music producution in FL Studio :) and do you guys think the best choice of ram is crucial, or could corsair dominator ddr4 work just fine? and I probably know that the best choice now of CPU might be the skylake, but will the new kaby-lake work too? a lot of questions here from me haha, but I really appriacte all answers and feedback I can get from you guys :D love to be a part of the tonymacx86 community, thanks :D

here is a link to the motherboard: https://www.komplett.no/product/900...dkort/gigabyte-ga-z170-gaming-k3-s-1151-demo#

or will this mobo work fine aswell? :) https://www.komplett.no/product/910...socket/gigabyte-ga-z270-gaming-k3-socket-1151

and my cpu I was thinking about was: https://www.komplett.no/product/904...orer/intel-core-i7-7700k-kaby-lake-prosessor#

My important goal with this build is to get a completely stable Hackintosh so I can use it daily as my main machine :)

my bad, I found the gaming k3 mobo in the buyers guide list now, haha, im so blind sometimes, but what about:
Gigabyte GA-Z270-Gaming K3, Socket-1151, will this work aswell? :)

An little update, do you guys think this combo will work fine together, I know the kaby-lake is still not native supported in Mac OS, but with some workaround should this run stable? :) or is the z170 100 series board and the skylake a much safer way to go, hmm
