Will this work? I'm selling my macbook pro 13.3" but I want to be able to use the 24" LED Apple Display on the Hackintosh using the components above. If not what is the best way to make it work.

Thanks for everyones help!!!

Have you used the newer ACD mini displayport with a hackintosh?

No, but according to this guy 'PinkZepplin' it does work. :)

"Yes I used an adapter for DP to miniDP from http://estore.circuitassembly.com/pr...ter-Cable.html As long as you install bootcamp 3.1 from your leapord DVD and install the new ACD drivers then the display will work just fine on PC. I didn't need to use any macs to adjust the brightness. Keep in mind im running windows 7 64 bit, and I don't know if you'll run into problems if you use vista or XP."

Now mind you he was using it just for PC but the fact that the display port adapter works with a 27" Apple Cinema display, I don't see why a 24" Apple display would not work under Snow Leopard.
