I am planning on installing Mac OS X on my laptop (Vaio SVE1513V1E
). Has some one done this before or any idea if it can be done? If so, could someone point me to the right installation guide?

Just do a Google search for VAIO S hackintosh! (And they're for your Sandy Bridge variant too)

Search results show VAIO S series (Sandy and Ivy Bridge) variants have successfully installed macOS (with very detailed guides). However, those guides are kinda outdated and refers to El Capitan/Sierra. Actually, if you're gonna try it, start with Sierra 10.12.6 first. (I'm having lots of trouble with the latest 10.13.5 version)
