Hackintosh Skylake build i5 6500 H110 Sluggish

8GB 2133
MSI GTX 1060
500 GB HDD

I am happy that I finally got my hackintosh build working.
The system in general feels rather sluggish with basic operations. The beach ball goes spinning a lot.
I cant play a 1080p 60 fps video smoothly. Also final cut pro reports frames dropped when I try to play the video.
Could it be that I don't have an SSD or is it something to do with optimisation?

I copied an EFI config from another thread to get my GPU recognised.
SMBIOS is set to 14,2 because 17,1 goes blank screen when I boot.
