Will be using this for Music Recording - I couldn't find, but is there any reference on this site with help to a thunderbolt install?

Here are the parts I am looking into, please let me know if they are compatible and what else I am missing... Me, too. If you like a nice, plain, quiet full tower case, take a look at this one - http://store.antec.com/Product/enclosure-performance_one_series/P280/0-761345-82000-4.aspx
I have the original P180 and it is a very good quiet case.

From what I have read, the TB port works for hi-res displays as a mini DP port and also works with TB devices, but not hot-swappable. You must have the devices connected at boot to have the system mount them.

I am using the up4 th board that is almost identical to your choice minus a few bells and whistles . And I use my machine to record and master audio everyday. I have the 3750 k i5 , geforce gtx 670 2GB ,16 GB corsair dominator 1866, 750 PC power and cooling PSU, several hard drives totaling 6 TB , and 120 GB SD for ML install with Library linked to separate drive.I use a M Audio FireWire 410 audio interface on a thunderbolt to FireWire adapter with no problems at all, a novation controll surface ,aka midi controller and two midi to USB convertors all on USB 2.0 as 3.0 is disabled . I have added a internal backplate USB hub to a internal header on MB to have extra working ports and I have several other USB devices connected at all times. I have no problems with this setup at all..all functioning and use logic pro, cubase, garage band etc....and also, I have the B/W nzxt switch full tower case and love it. I had a phantom before as well and it was great too

Any other advice on what I should buy? Am I missing any components? would the above components be compatible?

You could drop the PSU to 550W and be OK, otherwise, build it. Might add a SSD for a boot drive to speed things up a bit if budget allows.
