[GA-Z77-DS3H] Hackintosh freezes when tranferring files over network

I've been trying to transfer around 300 GB of files from my MacBook to my new hackintosh.

After a while, at different percentages of progress, my hackintosh freezes and I have to reset it.

There's no Kernel Panic or anything interesting in the log. The screen simply freezes and the MacBook loses connection.

I'm transferring via AFP over Gigabit network.

Here's what I've tried:

  • Running a memtest. Everything is OK.
  • Upgrading BIOS. Did not help.

Here's my system specs:

  • Intel i5 3750K
  • Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H, version 1.0 (firmware F10 beta)
  • Gigabyte Geforce 660 Ti 2GB
  • More specs here.

Does anyone have ideas for trying to solve this?

Have you found a solution to this? I'm running into the same issues now. It started when I decided to rebuild. Thought it was my SSD dying but now it's happing with this new drive.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

I have the same issue.

I copy 1TB .mkv files to FreeNAS via AFP, after coping 7-30GB, os x will freeze.

I think(not sure), maybe cause is about NIC driver, my motherboard is GA-B75n, NIC is Realtek 8111.
