Bonjour  ,

After doing my research, I have come down to this combination which I think should work and matches my professional needs (premiere, after effects [video production] blender [3D] ableton live [music production]) as well as a bit of gaming (thus the windows partition [flight simulator 2020, GTA6...]). This being my first hackintosh (mac user since 30 years), I'm new to assembling a computer and entering lines of codes, I would really really appreciate feedback on :

- is this all going to work ?

- is there anything stupid I did that could be improved ?

- have I chosen the best parts for the buck in matter of reliability stability & speed ?

I have followed recommended components from this site of course, and my config is quite close to this one which seems to be working : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-gigabyte-designare-z390-i9-9900k-sapphire-rx-5700-xt-nitro-se-lg-34wk95u-w.292101/

Here we go :
COMPONENTS INTERFACE REFERENCE BEST PRICE FOUND SO FAR
MOTHERBOARD ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING €220.00
CPU LGA 1151 I9 9900k €529.00
GRAPHICS CARD PCI Express x8 Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ RX 5700 XT 8GB €453.00
SSD 500(OSX) PCI Express 3.0 x4 Crucial P2 (2300 Mo/s read / 940 Mo/s write) €85.00
SSD 250 (WIN) PCI Express 3.0 x4 Crucial P2 ( 2300 Mo/s read / 1150 Mo/s write) €64.50
POWER Corsair 850 Watt €140.00
RAM DIMM Crucial BALLISTIX - SPORT LT RED 32 Go Kit 16 Gox2, 3000Mhz CL15 DR €175,00
FAN Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 €90.00
CASE BE QUIET 801 Black / Window €150.00

Merci beaucoup :)

It should run fine.

I don't see any reason why it can't be reliable and stable.

Ok thank you, that's reassuring to hear ! These 2 qualities are indeed key, that's what we're doing all this in the name of ! Mac OS :shifty:

I had one doubt ram-wise, I've been seeing this other G-Skill Tridentz option quite a bit lately, would you say they are better quality than the Corsair ? :O

I don't know which RAM is better or worse... I suggest looking at the "Qualified Vendor's List" (QVL) of the motherboard for best compatibility.
