I have an old (2012) workstation in my lab that I am thinking of trying to Hackintosh. I know very little about computer building in general, and nothing about server/workstation parts. I was hoping someone on here could tell me if my parts were compatible:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1275 v2
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT610
MoBo: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8C WS (there's almost no info about this board, I think it's this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131849)

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Try making an El Capitan USB installer and see if it works or not. The GT610 graphics do not work with Sierra or High Sierra. Select inject Nvidia as an option in Clover. It shouldn't be too difficult to install El Capitan but may take some tweaking of your installer's config.plist.

This guide may help. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/asus-p8c-ws-build-the-whole-adventure.104730/
It does use the Chameleon bootloader instead of Clover. There may still be some helpful info there.

Great, thanks for the info! I might be able to find a different graphics card in another one of our old computers. Is there a list of compatible cards somewhere?

Yes, in the Buyer's Guide. Some of the Nvidia cards will need the web drivers installed.
