HackinDROM App for OpenCore EFI Creation and Update

Ohhh, I thought it had Z170 in the list. So sad. But this looks cool. Will keep and eye. Thank you

Okay, very cool, but what if we don't have one of the few listed motherboards? Will it still work?
We would like to add more motherboards to HackinDROM App. We won't be able to support all models, but hopefully expand the repertoire to many more.

We would like to add your OpenCore EFI folders to the HackinDROM database!

As of May 5, 2021 HackinDROM App supports the following motherboards:
  • ASRock X570 Taichi
  • Asus X99 Deluxe II
  • Gigabyte B550 Vision D
  • Gigabyte Z390 Designare
  • Gigabyte Z490 Vision D

Are you the owner of a Golden Build in TonyMacx86? If so, you are prequalified to add your EFI folder to the database.
  • Please request Admin login and password by sending Private Message to @Inqnuam
Are you the owner of a User Build in TonyMacx86? If so, please post a link to your build thread so we can qualify you.
  • Once qualified, please request Admin login and password by sending Private Message to @Inqnuam
If you don't have a Golden Build or User Build, but would like to add your build, we would like to help you too! Please reply to this thread with a simple description:
  • Make / Model of motherboard
  • CPU
  • OpenCore Version
Also provide a list of what may not work fully. For example:
  • Does sleep/wake work?
  • Does EFI support OpenIntelWireless drivers? (It's okay if this is not supported.)
  • Does restart/shutdown work?
  • Does FaceTime and Messages work?
  • Does WiFi and Bluetooth work (Broadcom-based)? (It's okay if no WiFi/BT card is installed.)
  • If Thunderbolt exists, does EFI support Thunderbolt hot plug?

More than 200 Update/Install were done from all your builds since OC 0.6.9 release

That's a great start! As you can see above, I would like to open the database to more builds.

Approved.

@Inqnuam, please create admin credentials for @Ploddles and let him know how to open the login page.

Something's not right here. After I mounted my EFI and "updated" I now have this after reboot:

I can only mount the EFI-WDC-866, yet the normal (original) EFI loads on startup! This normal?

@Ploddles,

In the Release Notes section please add any descriptive information so users will know what is required and what is not supported. For example, Intel WiFi/BT is required. Any other relevant detail about the build should be added.

Yes this is actually a feature. Several macOS apps don’t work correctly when we mount two or more EFI partitions with the same names. For example, OpenCore Configurator and even BBEdit cannot handle it. That’s why we now give each EFI partition a unique name.
