HackinDROM App for OpenCore EFI Creation and Update

Top Thanks

Superb here. It Works very well

@Inqnuam,

We should modify the help string for agdpmod=pikera to something like this:

"Renames board-id to board-ix effectively disabling board ID checks. This is required for AMD RX 5000 and RX 6000 series GPUs, but should be removed for all others, especially Radeon VII and Vega."

Im wondering, is the HackinDROM tool GPU aware? I'm thinking if it's possible to automatically inject such SSDTs for better GPU performance https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/amd-radeon-performance-enhanced-ssdt.296555/
There are several reasons why I don't recommend this:
  • PCI device paths have to be customized for each motherboard and PCIe slot.
  • The SSDT improves GPU benchmarking performance, but does not make much difference in real world applications.
  • If someone is already using a Radeon Boost SSDT or Kext in their EFI, then HackinDROM App will neither delete it nor disable it.

v1.4.4 Released

v1.4.3 Known issues:

Admin Portal
  • On upload the App is written to receive "config.plist" file name but not "Config.plist" -> App crashes when we select it in Create EFI section. FIXED
  • macOS Catalina
    • The app crashes when we drag and drop then we put it back to outside then try again to drop to upload. FIXED
Bluetooth
  • The app will crash if we click to "play" button to start monitoring without selecting Bluetooth device from the list. FIXED

@Inqnuam,

We should modify the help string for agdpmod=pikera to something like this: DONE

"Renames board-id to board-ix effectively disabling board ID checks. This is required for AMD RX 5000 and RX 6000 series GPUs, but should be removed for all others, especially Radeon VII and Vega."

-Optimizations for builds uploads for admins
-Added added items sum for Plist Editor to make it even better

-Various fixes and improvements to make the app better for everyone

v1.4.0 and the integration of Plist Editor was very big step for the app
futur releases will use Plist Editor's algorithms more and more to make OpenCore EFI Updates even more "error-free"

@Ben42 could you please update the build, it still uses the invalid kext with disabled USB ports
