When trying to wake, all fans start to spin, the power-led goes on, but the screen remains black. Any advice on what to check would be greatly appreciated!

Mine doesn`t even go to sleep after upgrading to 10.8.3. Same specs as yours except for videocard (I have Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 1GB).
update: Deleted nullcpupowermanagement.kext, now sleep/wake works fine.

same here. everything was working fine in 10.8.2.

10.8.3 broke waking up from sleep and TRIM support. can't find anyway to enable them back :(

didn't had nullcpupowermanagement so couldn't test it...

i tried several options from the multibeast install like evoreboot, elliotforcelegacyRTC, nullcpupowermanagement, and all options under disk drivers, but no luck :(

tried also under root user: pmset hibernatemode 0 -> didn't worked either.

The problem turned out to be my card-reader, if you are experiencing the same problem, try removing yours if you have one!

Hi MultivlaaiTaart,

How did you remove the card-reader from your system?

Right... I was thinking we were talking about a built-in card reader.
