I attached my IORegistryExplorer file, but sadly it's all gibberish to me. I can see the boot log in DCPIManager, but it's awfully long and the file uploader doesn't the text file I made for some reason...

ALSO! For iStat Menus, I had to use the beta download listed here (The stock version won't load the temperatures): https://bjango.com/help/istatmenus5/knownissues/
combined with installing HWSensors - http://www.hwsensors.com

All is good in IOREG.. In DCPIManagers boot log search "SSDT". You are looking for it to say
"Inserting SSDT.AML from EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched ... Success" Hint: Go through the search results backwards; you'll find it faster...

Freaking thank you so, much DUDE!! iStat works again

"3:643 0:000 Inserting SSDT.AML from EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched ... Success"

Found it... man this is weird!

Also no worries! It took me a week to find that beta file and I even emailed Bjango about it X3 Glad I could help!

Here is a most recent copy of my SSDT: View attachment 163692

now i have 4.40 frq in idle with your last SSDT.

I decided to remove SSDT from /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched and freq in idle drop to 0.80

I also noticed that you are on F5 bios firmware. Try F6 and remove SSDT for native power management.

Did you also remove the changes to the clover config.plist? I'm assuming you also left the apple power management kext in place?

Also side question - I'm running F4, if I go to update my BIOS is it safe to go straight to F6?

Removed SSDT and removed DropTables form config.plist

P.S.

I went straight to F6 from F4 (no problems at all)

Updated to F6, removed SSDT and the two DropTables, and now it fluctuates at 3.68 to 4.00 GHz (no long goes into boost range)

Oh well, I don't want to fill up n3oNLit3's thread with my issue, I'll be checking it out on the main thread later.

Thanks guys!
