Thank you for this awesome thread! Can anyone recommend any working usb wifi + bt cards (Or just wifi, bluetooth is kinda optional )? I'm planing to do this but I don't want to buy a card that doesn't work.

hello. I don't know what's about bluetooth card, but as my daily wi-fi driver im using tp-link wn725n(it is one of the smallest adapters, so you will be able to carry it always with you and it won't make you feel uncomfortable because of it's size) - you can use or an official driver from tp-link's site, or there is also a kext that turns the wifi icon back -
