Thanks for the information on the A09! I will update the guide

Regarding IO80211Family you do not have to do anything, secure boot is already enabled in the provided v8.0 . (reference https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ktext.html#wifi-and-bluetooth )

so you need to do the following:

1. remove `AIR_EFI/OC/Kexts/itlwm.kext`

2. add `AIR_EFI/OC/Kexts/AirportItlwm.kext`

3. use ProperTree > OC Snapshot to update the config.plist or do it manually

Perfect, thanks ! It’s now installing BS, I’ll keep you updated

Well now I have only one problem : During install, system reboots and it keeps taking me back to macOS Recovery, which I suppose it’s not the good thing to see.

And at one time too config.plist was totally erased, dunno how

Update : macOS install stucks at 16 minutes, does nothing for many minutes then reboots into Recovery menu

Hello Sakoula,
after setup_var 0x84A 0x00 and then checking MSRE2 i got the CFG unlocked!
Now, for the first time, your EFI OC let me choose any disk and i can boot from any!
So i tried to install BS on the USB disk but after 2 reboot the progress bar stops and i got:
Support.apple.com/mac/startup?
Either shall i use the USB stick BS installer?

@bergui45 : You should select your USB stick to boot into macOS Recovery installer, then create a partition for macOS Extended (Journaled) and install macOS on it

Hello TiJack,
You mean i have to erase the disk ? i thought that upgrade from Catalina to BS was possible?

Oh you’re upgrading ! My bad, didn‘t understand...
You could just upgrade within Catalina, it should work just fine

OK Thanx!

It doesn't work since i get a No Way icon and Support.apple.com/mac/startup?

any idea how to sort this mess?

Hello
BS installation is working as expected on the internal SSD!
I Choose this after verifying i still can boot from the USB SSD containing Catalina!
So crossed fingers until about half an hour installation...

Holy sh...
I'm stuck at the end of the installation process since the validation tool is unable to set the startup disk?
So i'm on an application Update MacOs Assistant where the only possibilities are either booting from Windows or from the USB Catalina disk...
Is there another trick to be done in order to be able to have BS starting up?
