Guide: Update OS X Mavericks to OS X Yosemite Using UniBeast and MultiBeast

Maverick with last updates.

1. Now after your Guide - here is Yosemite.
2. My boot loader is Clover with last version 2953.
3. I tried to install ALC 892 kext with MultiBeast 7.0
No result.

i have a Z87M-D3H and it keeps kernel panicking any ideas? I've updated the bios it runs Mavericks fine but it won't boot Yosemite

same i have the z87-hd3 and it has the same problem!

I just followed the directions to the T, and no dice.

I booted with the USB and selected UniBeast, and it went to a grey Apple screen with a progress bar. After the progress bar made it about halfway it went to an all-grey screen with a circle and line through it.

This happened twice.

strange my Z77-DS3H went straight into the installer with no problems and installed over Mavericks and Yosemite is running perfect on this build yet when i go and boot with the Z87M-D3H i get a kernel panic its weird yet Mavericks boots fine

This worked on my Gigabyte X79 UD5 LGA 2011!!!!


So far so good - you can tell this OSX was designed for 4K and above (Retina monitor) - looks slick so far on my Samsung 4K - 27". Tony Mac, Mac Man, Stork and crew are the best!!!!
