Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

Hi,

i have ProBook 4740s im struggeling even at the beginning of installation when the graphical part starts.

no idea what is my problem

Post your EFI folder from USB.

Also provide details on your hardware...

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

it worked, i can make it boot to yosemite, but somethings really strange

when i login using apple ID, it said that my computer is not verified ??

Did you follow the guide when it came to running the ProBook Installer?

Hi

i have come one step further…

i have a running macbook pro 10.10.2 (orginal) and insert this ssd into the HP Probook 4740s and the Clover USB Stick
Starting the book from the Stic and selectetd the SSD for go further…
this works "nearly nice" sreen have some problems but im "in"

so what to do next?
im new to clover!
I installed HP Probook Installer Clover edition (see pixs for settings)
but the Probook cant boot from the internal ssd…

i tryd to start again via usb stick - but now the ssd is no longer there????
only the stick

any idea?

How did you format your SSD? Make sure you format it as GPT.

If Clover stick can't see your OS X drive, your OS X partition is probably corrupted.

How many drives do you have in your 4740s?

Probably, though I don't think any of the script in the installer can corrupt the drive! Go to installer usb > Disk Utility to check if all partitions are kept.

The only one related to drive is the mounting EFI partition script, that's why I asked you about GPT drive.

Please after running PBI CE, post the troubleshooting files, before the drive is corrupted in next boot.

reinstalld it again ofter the existing system

now it "works"

Graphic is hurrable slow
cant disable the HD4000 Graphic (when i disable the switch in the bios its only the HD4000)
cant boot from the internal drive (only via stick)

as you see in the pics i have set the settings inside the Probook installer to high res but it does not work

im bit frustrated

where can i find PBI CE?
