Symptoms
Only one USB port works on ProBook 4530s (and other models). The other ports connect and disconnect the plugged in device every other second.

Solution
Install BTFirmwareUploader from ProBook Installer Clover Edition.

BTFirmwareUploader tends to cause crash on wake from sleep... It is also closed source. It should be avoided.

Use IOath3kfrmwr.kext instead (assuming you have AR3011 BT).

You're using old version 6.2.14.2

USB 3.0 changed in 6.2.15, and BTFirmwareUploader is replaced by IOath3kfrmwr and BrcmPatchRam

Im Mac'ing a elitebook 8470p with a Radeon 7570m 1366x with Yosemite.

Ive used 10.10.1 installmedia (appstore), latest Probook installer .15 (rc) and Clover 3113.

Ports and bt disabled, all required enabled.

It wil only boot with videobios disabled in Clover\GPU settings resulting in no video acceleration. This took some hours to find out. Trial and error.

If i enable it, as default, as soon as the gui is loaded, after the apple, the screen goes black. OSX is deff running, not frozen. HDD activity and reaction on key stroakes.

Any tips of switches?

And Wifi is not working, i've ordered a different module, Broadcom.

Note: Unless that card is HP branded, don't expect it to work in a 4530s.

I notice, that smbios is not the same as in config.plist - i choose correctly file, and in clover it seems like it is macbook air. I don't know why.

Post your EFI folder from USB.

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Guys i have just installed new ssd, but i can't make Clover to boot to the setup screen.

It shows a log of text and then the blank screen and then stop there.

My gig is 4530s screen upgraded with HD3000 1600+ version 6 config.plist file.

Any help ?
