Always make sure you don't have both installed, as that is a bit difficult to recover from (involves single user mode).

Hi rehabman, at first thank you for your work an support over here. I need probably your help. On my probook 4540s i have Broadcom 43225HMB/4352HMB combo card. After update to el capitan my bluetooth stopped working. Wifi works but bluetooth not. I tried put your BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext to S/L/E directory but it does not helped me. Is there please any way to get it work again?

4352 and 43225 are different devices.

You forgot to install BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext.

BrcmPatchRAM.kext is not for 10.11. Remove.

I don't know exactly how I did it, but bluetooth works again. I do not know why BrcmPatchRAM was on that log, because that kext was definitely deleted from S/L/E and also from Clover 10.11 directory.
I downloaded new release of BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and have installed them thru the kext wizard . After rebuilding the cache repairing permissions and restart bluetooth is working again.

So one more time thank you for your help

If you select tag in the left of Finder, it will list all files in your system, not only in current folder.
 
Hi after I installed to the latest BIOS v61 for this machine (elitebook8460p) i've been trying to install yosemite from zero. Meaning that SSD has an empty partition (hfs journaled). I noticed that this other computer is 1600x900 resolution instead of the 1366x768 of the previous 8460p I´ve had.
So I Reformated USB Clover Yosemite installer and used the HD3000 1600x900+ blackscreen config.plist.
I start computer, press f9, start from efi file etc
I get to the clover bootloader then select "Boot OS X Install from Install OSX Yosemite"
The black screen with the gray apple shows up.
The progress bar stays at the middle of the path. After 15 minutes nothig happens.

Don´t know what to do?

* I´ve tried different configs also and the same issue occurs
HD3000 1600x900+
HD3000 1600x900+ blackscreen
HD3000 1600x900+ on 7-series chipset

Set a FakeID to something bogus (as in... 0x12345678). Deal with graphics in post install.
