Guide To Install Yosemite on HP Laptops with Clover UEFI

RehabMan, nothing unusual in verbose mode. I removed the BTFirmwareUploader kext and the crashes continue, most often shortly after wake up. I upgraded to the latest Clover and PBI Clover and see that BTFirmwareUploader in now optional. I continue running with 10.10 wishing it was as stable as 10.9.5 on my machine.

10.x.0 releases are never as stable as 10.x.5 releases.

Where did you put config.plist? Are you sure your screen is 1600x900?

Hi, i have few problems with ProBook 4540s:

1. Display colors are washed out after installing yosemite (colors were fine on mavericks, windows and external monitor when using yosemite), i tried different color profiles but colors always remain washed out.

2. When i open launchpad icons are blurred, they were fine on mavericks.

3. Can someone confirm that Broadcom 43225HMB is working on 4540s?

Download patchmatic: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-MaciASL-patchmatic.
Extract the 'patchmatic' binary from the ZIP. Copy it to /usr/bin, such that you have the binary at /usr/bin/patchmatic.

In terminal,

rm -Rf ~/Downloads/RehabMan
mkdir ~/Downloads/RehabMan
cd ~/Downloads/RehabMan
patchmatic -extract

Post contents of Downloads/RehabMan directory (as ZIP).

Also, post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

And output from:

kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu

It works if you use an smbios that allows it. Read post #1.

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.
