Will this work on High Sierra? Do the files go to s/l/e or l/e like usual?

Download all files and extract them.

Remove AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext from /S/L/E
Remove ApplePS2Contrller.kest from /S/L/E
Install ( Smarttouchpad.kext ) and ( VoodooPS2Controller.kext ) using Kext utility.
Copy ( org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist ) to /Library/LaunchDaemons

use ( ShowHiddenFile.app ) to see hidden file.
copy ( voodoops2daemon ) in /usr/bin

now Reboot and enjoy.

If you get any problem let me know.

Hi this works for me on macOS Mojave on my hp 15-ay032nl with Synaptics touchpad

Tried this on my laptop (Synaptic trackpad), trackpad works as mouse, keyboard not working.
When I remove ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext, keyboard starts working fine (including brightness control and Fn key) but trackpad still works as mouse.

Using only ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext from the closed dev still doesn't bring full trackpad functionality, it still works as mouse (plus keyboard doesn't work either).

Attaching problem reporting files. Also tried using VoodooI2C (with different windows patches on my DSDT) none of them enabled trackpad features, it still works like a mouse. Attached debug when both smarttouch and voodoops2 are installed.

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
