Download all files and extract them.

Remove AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext from /S/L/E
Remove ApplePS2Contrller.kest from /S/L/E
Install ( Smarttouchpad.kext ) and ( VoodooPS2Controller.kext ) using Kext utility.
Copy ( org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist ) to /Library/LaunchDaemons

use ( ShowHiddenFile.app ) to see hidden file.
copy ( voodoops2daemon ) in /usr/bin

now Reboot and enjoy.

If you get any problem let me know.

hi there
i've installed all this but no smart gestures nor trackpadpane it seems that it mess up the numberpad in the left side of the keyboard now the numbers control the cursor

i have an hp probook 4540s i5

Well i followed all the instruction but no luck i should mention i have perfectly working hackintoch except the trackpad witch it's only problem is the prefpane missing from the syspref and i only need that so i can enable the tap to click feature witch is weirdly working in the recovery partition and before i login to macos

Read guide, post #1, "Problem Reporting".

I installed voodoops2 and everything worked, except that it recognised my synaptic touchpad as a mouse (which is kind of annoying). I then tried to follow your guide, but that didn't fix the problem. It did fix the weird bug I was having where alt and command where switched though...

Any tips?

Your ioreg shows your trackpad detected as Synaptics trackpad, not mouse.

do all the Mac gestures work??

Thanks for the guide, works great. Scrolling is a little slow though, the page doesn't move much. Any idea how I can change this? Can't see anything in settings.
