hello

are you using still Sierra ? I have same motherboard and I install Mojave but I can't active sound. I connect my Sony tv with hdmi. I try your suggestion on first message but not solve.

thank you

Yes, I'm using Sierra. Too many problems with High Sierra, so I keep Sierra.

But last Sierra version => 10.12.6 is ok.

hello again. you use hdmi audio or external audio source ? i install everything fine but can not activate hdmi audio ?

thank you

I use hdmi audio or USB/jack Headphone. It works perfectly on Sierra and High Sierra.

Finally, I did the update to High Sierra (computer is not mine anymore, I did the update for its new owner). No problem to update to High Sierra, just follow this post => https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/update-directly-to-macos-high-sierra.232707/

It took me 1h30 to finalize High Sierra installation. I follow the post then install High Sierra package (45mns), reboot, install all High Sierra updates from App Store (30mns more), reboot, update CUDA + NVIDIA drivers, reboot, done.

For NVIDIA Drivers, follow this post if you have any trouble => https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...s-high-sierra-10-13-0-378-10-10-10-15.225522/

Everything was working perfectly: audio, bluetooth, usb, graphic card, etc.

After installation, do not forget to save your clover configuration...

Installation of Mojave was (very) (very) long but it works great following this tuto => https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/update-directly-to-macos-mojave.260654/

Bluetooth, sound, ethernet, etc. work perfectly.

Unfortunately and like all NVIDIA video cards, no driver is available for Mojave. I found a way to get a 'great' display by following this tuto => https://www.travelertechie.com/2018/09/nvidia-web-drivers-mojave-workaround.html
But if you use video editing software, it is not a great solution, you won't be able to export quickly videos... Otherwise, this hack could be an option.

But in my opinion, you have to replace your graphic card by a Radeon one. I replaced the graphic card by an old Radeon RX480.
