If you have got better Audio drivers for this machine, I'll be glad to test them!
Its not a different driver. You have to uninstall/delete the realtek audio driver from windows, than switching between internal speakers and headphone jack works via the audio panel in system preferences. What do you mean by your fans are normal after updating bios? Also do you know if there has been any work on the voodooi2c drivers? Its all Im missing in my build. Last question, what are your thoughts on high sierra? I havent tested it because audio programs usually take 1-3months to updates for full compatibility with a new mac os but im highly curious.

Hi @uar,

I want to keep my Windows installation, so I did everything in your guide, but somehow the "create part primary id=af" doesn't work and gives me an error. I tried to google it, but everybody just says to clear the whole disk. (I created a empty partition and didn't format it)

Is there another way to create my partition for OSX without using Diskpart?

Audio driver in Windows works, I was actually thinking about macOS. There was an issue with coilwhine and fans on the blade in the past. Those who bought it around November or December last year was affected. They gave a BIOS update to resolve this issue, later on they released a firmware for the same issue for old BIOS versions. So if you have patched DSDT and SSDTs use the firmware not the BIOS update. VoodooI2C drivers are still in beta, but basic functionality works, so you don't need to carry around a mouse. High Sierra works, but with the same compromises as Sierra, you still need cpus=4. If you consider updating your system to it. Make sure you get the latest apfs.efi mentioned some posts back. In the betas I forgot to grab that driver and ended up not booting the operating system after the update.

It works in MBR, my bad. If you have GPT, then it won't work. Backup your files, wipe it and install macOS. You can create another partition for Windows in the installer and install it later.

Yes, I've updated BIOS but I don't recommend it. It will totally ruin your Hackbook. Optimus is not supported in macOS!

macOS 10.13.1 Update
  • This update will replace your audio drivers, delete AppleHDA and restart.
  • The Trackpad is no longer supported, so you need to carry around an external mouse. Delete VoodooI2C from SLE or you'll get KP!
  • apfs.efi is updated. Replace it at EFI\CLOVER\drivers64UEFI

Thanks for your reply.
I asked incorrectly.
Before I saw this thread, I already updated my bios.
So I can't use the DSDT and SSDTs you provided.
I solved the Optimus problem now by using the spoof SSDT from this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...-only-ran-for-0-seconds-with-dual-gpu.233092/
I boot and install successfully but my Blade became very hot.
And I want to patch some ACPI files that to see if I can improve it.
Also it seems that disabling the Nvidia card by patching SSDTs is a better way to solve the Optimus problem.
But after I extracted the ACPI files from Clover and decompiled it.
I always encountered errors when I wanted to compile it.
Even if I didn't patch anything yet.

So how do you patch your DSDT and SSDTs?

I finally got my laptop up and running with High Sierra. Everything seems to be working properly except for the touchpad. I'm not updated to 10.13.1 so I should still be able to use the touchpad right? If anyone can help me get that working that would be great

See guide for correct ACPI disassembly/patching procedures:
