I was able to fix my issue. I updated all my kexts and made sure that my boot arguments were the same as in the default config.plist before adding in SSDT-10-OptTabl.aml. There's a little bit of static in the audio, but it's barely noticeable if I'm listening to music. @vettz500 you may consider updating the kexts included in the OP download files or including Hackintool to auto-fetch the latest versions.

However, now I have a different problem; when I click "Sleep" in the Apple menu, my screen flashes a bunch and then just acts as if I locked it, presenting the lock screen. Audio is fine after, but closing the lid does the same thing. What can I do to fix this?

Got my mojave install working. Just two things I wanted to ask:

1. I swapped FakeSMC and ACPIBatterymanager to virtualsmc/smcbatterymanager to fix the jumpy trackpad issue (works great so far). However when I did this, I lost battery stats. Are there extra steps I need to take? Running latest version of both kexts.

2. Has there been any progress to the backlight issue on boot/wake? I feel like it started once i swapped out the batterymanager kexts. It's not the end of the world, but if there's a solution i'm all for trying.

3. I have no sound output devices. This also happened after swapping kexts.

EDIT: nevermind, updated AppleALC kext and Lilu kext and now we're in business. All above issues are fixed

Another update on Catalina vs Mojave:

Boot times are slower, it takes around 1.5 to 2 times longer to boot Catalina, and around 5 times more to turn it off. It can be seen that there are a lot more logs going on too while booting/turning off.

The battery drain while sleeping is roughly the same, while battery life when wifi is active is way worse.

If I remember correctly the base model 2018 has the same trackpad as the 2019 advanced. You could try following the trackpad related parts of stonevil's guide. I think it's just a matter of using the latest VoodooI2C and patching your DSDT as described in the guide.

I've noticed that if I remove all the Broadcom-related kexts in Catalina all the boot/switch off slowness disappears (along with wifi obviously).
So the root of all evils is that, haven't tried the patched kext version mentioned above yet.

Alright peoples! I'm back. Life has been crazy for me the last few months, I just haven't had the time to dedicate to this forum or this build. I've rocking the same install since January and it's been pretty much rock solid for me. I'm going to start making the move to migrate over to Mojave and Catalina and update the guide and keep up with your questions. It's a bit too much for me to go back and find unresolved questions, so if you have something still unresolved, please repost and I will do my best to get it answered. But this thread has become self sustaining which is awesome.

But I will be back, updating the guide itself and bringing in the new trackpad drivers and what not that have since been added by you fine folks.

Following up on one of those unresolved questions, but you said you had found a solution for it, so here's to hoping! So, I don't actually have a Razer Blade -- I have an Aero 15-X9. However, my laptop has the same weird "Connected Projector: Built-In Display" issue, where it thinks my built in display is 30.5 inches, and a projector. Curious as to if you ever got it fixed. I'm running into an independent issue with my trackpad which I believe is linked to the display issue.

@vettz500 maybe you can help me out. I followed about 90% of your guide to get my stealth 2019 working. And its has been great for the most part except for sleep. If I try to put the laptop to sleep or close the lid the display won't work.

the keyboard remains lit and if I toggle the volume keys I can still here it change so the machine is awake. Display is just black though.

Maybe you can take a look at my debug file?
