Hi!

I just updated the Probook 4340s to Mavericks!

Really simply, ....
Bootflag to Mavericks install is:

IGPlatformID=01660003 IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No​

You must wait really long to enter the Install Menü, first there is the apple boot logo... wait, then the window turns completely in white... wait, then the window is grey... wait... and then hopefully you see the install screen...
I installed it over my Mountain Lion without formatting the disk...

After the install Reboot with the Unibeast Stick (F9) into your New or Updated System Disk.

Then i used the HP Probook Installer 6.1.9 with the same choices plus "Optional Patches - Intel USB 3.0 patch"...

So it just works fine...

I did read this post trying to find a way to solve my installation problem in my Toshiba Satellite C55-a-17p.

I was able to have Ml installed and it is running but only in safe mode.

Because I saw that HP Probook 4340s is very similar I tried to use the Probook Installer. I did everyhting that was suggested to its specs but my system hangs in the following lines:

The ProBook Installer is only for HP ProBooks.

You should post your question in the appropriate laptop support forum.
