As per rules, please update your hardware profile to allow others to help you easier

please read the faq for proper hardware profile setup:

johns:>ls -al
output: rwxr-xr-x@ 1 xxxx staff 1150928 Apr 18 15:25 iasl

The @ mark at the end^

after copying the iasl from /usr/bin/
stating the directory the file when looking at it has this @ keeps it from being recognized in MaciASL to update the new version to be used.

thanks

been looking for how to remove >> @

Doesn't @ have to do with xattr? Use xattr to list, modify, delete extended attributes.
