Hi,
did you solved this issue? i have the same problem in the middle of night or day is wake from sleep and after 10 sec. or so it go to sleep again.
will this work with r9 380?

I have the same motherboard, an i5 CPU, GTX 760 and his guide worked perfectly for me! Thank you very much!

My audio doesn't work anymore after sleeping, does anyone have any idea why this happens?

Have you experience any 4k sector error using this method? I have
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive, and I have 4k sector on Yosemite installer. I'm planing to upgrade it to El Capitan.

LINK14 --> As I use an ultrawide screen too, I come back to this discussion. Since I have updated from 10.11.3 to 10.11.6 I can't patch macpixelclock https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch so I've tried the V2 and the IOkit-patcher but can't find out to make it works !
Have you updated to 10.11.6? if so, how have you fixed your screen resolution?

much thanks

That's what I've done. But when I dwld IOkit....command, it's rejected by Terminal.
Here is the file (Zipped) seems it has html tags inside. and Yes my SID is disabled.

oops, I was "right cilicing-->save as" IOKIT instead of downloading it with the green button "clone or download" !

I launched the patch, but I needed to dwld a developping tool pack from Apple, relaunch the patch and that's it !

works very fine now with 10.11.6
