best to zip and upload your EFITried, unfortunately no change.
best to check with:Here it is
think alc does say 7 which is fineThank you for your patience, it is much appreciated.
I went through all the proposed layout IDs one by one, neither of which worked. I could change the alc-layout-ids, trying all the ones in the list (1, 2, 3, ...99), and each change was visible in IOReg. The layout-id stayed at 7 regardless of the config.plist entry, however. I tried both EA060900 00000000 00000000 00000000 and EB060900 00000000 00000000 00000000 as Cpuid1Data masks with the same results.
Codec is ALC887.
have a look at what hackintool generates for youI did as instructed, this time changing layout-ids. I noticed that the layout ID in IOReg stays at 7, whereas the alc-layout-ids follow the settings of layout-id (see example screenshots). Going through the whole list didn't bring onboard audio to life though. The changes could be seen in IOReg, but that was it.
Could it be that HS expects KabyLake audio devices at PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1b,0x0) with a layout-id of 50, but the Comet Lake audio is at PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3)? I have no idea how to address that via patch, as the native device ID of CML audio is C8060000, and such value can't be entered into Hackintool for audio device spoofing...
