[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

Hi.
I have a Dell 3542 laptop with : i3-4005u 1.7ghz , Intel HD 4400 , 8GB ram.

I'm on Mojave 10.14 and i would like you to ckeck if my power management (cpu+gpu) is working at it should.

I'm more concerned about gpu frequency , it. stays at minimum 200 even when i'm playing mkv video (see photo) , when in windows 10 at the same video gpu does all the job. Same minimum 200 when converting video with videoproc (even thought videoproc shows h264acceleration).

Thank you in advance.

Help, I was able to follow all the instructions from Custom SSDT.aml using ssdtPRGen.sh and had succeeded but I am kind of getting rejected when testing it.

Hi rehabman,
According to this guide, I generated ssdt.aml by ssdtPRGen. Pasted it on ACPI/patched. When reboot, it shows Five Language Error.

No idea what you man by "Five Language Error".
Also, you will need to be clear on what hardware you're dealing with.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

You forgot to deal with non-native LPC.
See ACPI patching guide:

Remove /kexts directory. Start over with /kexts and AppleIntelInfo.kext setup as per post #1.

Sorry , sir. This is too difficult for me.
Maybe you could help me out ?

Read the ACPI patching guide regarding "Haswell LPC" patch.
