[Guide] Lenovo Z50-70/Z40-70 using Clover UEFI (10.11)

While reboot i don't find the Boot Without Cache option, i thing it is removed in the latest version of clover

am in clover - r4061 which is very latest, what to do now ????

Please find the AppleBacklightInjector.kext attached

SMBIOS is switched to MacBookAir6,2

am really frustrated :( only for the issue that is brightness since the last 3 days...please help me out

Also let me know what are the brightness keys which we are using ????

I need your help guys very bad, i did a fresh installation for EI Capitan 10.11.6, also i followed the steps one by one.

Every thing is working including the audio, however somehow my brightness is not working ....i recently installed 10.12.4 and came to know that update has broke the brightness function. Hence i made my mind to do a fresh install for EL Capitan.

But still my brightness is not working.

Your AppleBacklightInjector.kext Info.plist is incorrect.
Your display DisplayProductID is 0x37ed.
Your Info.plist has only a match for 0x0717.

thanks for pointing this out, how ever I have no clue how the display product id is changed when I perform a clean installation....

could you please help me out how can I fix the issue ...need ur help in this

Regenerate AppleBacklightInjector.kext.
It appears to me it is generated by install_download.sh and installed.
 
yes but how I suppose to regenerate now...as per the guide I used the install_download.sh script

another way to generate it??

Run ./install_downloads.sh as per guide.
 
Hey @RehabMan and @the-braveknight. My HDMI and VGA (VGA works for me) ports not working after this patch.

Why is connector-type <00 04 00 00> in "IORegistry without patch"/HDMI?
You did not provide EFI/Clover for that scenario, so impossible to tell what is different between the working and non-working.
But it seems strange that the connector-type in that scenario is still DP, not HDMI, whereas that particular port is patched for HDMI <00 08 00 00> in the current files.

I just noticed that I have <00 04 00 00> in my IOReg as well, but I verified that the clover patch is being applied and HDMI audio is working...
