No nothing. Really strange, everything worked before.

I tried with the old EFI I had and the brightness keys are fine. As soon as I put yours back they don't work anymore. I just can't figure out where the problem is.

I've just changed it to an Apple BCM94360CS2 which works OOB with no extra kexts or device id spoofs and was only £4 GBP on eBay - it requires an adaptor to make it fit but they're really cheap too.

Yes, I seem to remember doing the white-listing thing with the BIOS, but that was years ago so I can’t quite remember.
